It was shown that the gene sequences of cyanomyoviruses are diverse and similar to those of the viruses from Lake Baikal. The presence of closely related virus strains in these lakes is associated with the geographical proximity, direct water connection, and similar hydrochemical parameters of the lakes. g20 gene, genetic diversity, cyanophages, Myoviridae family, Lake Khövsgöl |
